Kyle Peterson, MD
Education Doctor of Medicine Degree from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX — Residency in Emergency Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital in New York City Dr. Peterson has been practicing since 2009 and is board certified in emergency medicine. Kyle Peterson is a graduate of University of Texas Health Science Center medical school in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Peterson completed his Emergency Medicine training at Metropolitan Hospital in New York City and was selected as Chief Resident his last year of residency. Dr. Peterson moved to Beaumont, TX following residency. There he served as the Chief of Emergency Medicine/Medical Director at Christus St. Mary Hospital and then as the Medical Director of Golden Triangle EC.

Kevin Pebsworth
Education: EMT-Paramedic certification from Angelina College
Hometown: Lufkin, Texas Kevin Pebsworth has always enjoyed the responsibilities that come with working in the Medical field. In 2005, he began his career at the Lufkin Fire Department as a Firefighter and base level EMT and worked his way up to Paramedic. After five years of sleepless nights on an ambulance, he transitioned into the freestanding ER setting. He has been with Lufkin ER since its inception and since then has been involved with multiple aspects of the ER, ranging from patient care to community involvement. Kevin is passionate about promoting the Lufkin ER experience which is highlighted by their compassion, customer service, and top-quality emergency care.

Heather McCall
Education: Surgical Technologist from Tyler Junior College-Tyler — R.N. license in 2014 from Angelina College, Lufkin—Currently enrolled in B.S.N. program at Texas A&M University.
Hometown: Lufkin, Texas Heather began working for Lufkin Emergency Center at it’s very beginning in March 2016. She worked as a PRN shift nurse while continuing her full-time job as an ER nurse for CHRISTUS Jasper Memorial Hospital where she held the Trauma coordinator position until coming to Lufkin ER full time in July 2017. While Heather’s experience in nursing has been limited to the Emergency/Trauma field, she has also worked closely with Case Management, Billing & Coding, Home Health, and Orthopedics. Heather loves being able to follow her patient’s care from injury to recovery. Seeing her patients get back to their daily routine and level of activity is very important. Heather’s goal for Lufkin ER is to continue to take care of her hometown community for all of their emergent healthcare needs. She hopes to bridge the gap between freestanding ERs and hospital health care teams in an effort to create the best healing environment and continuity of care for her patients.
